. Use automake, drop laas mkdep.
. Drop hairy autoconf --with-libraries and --with-includes. Rely on
CPPFLAGS/LDFLAGS instead.
. Simplify libedit detection. Since the laas patch for EL_GETC have been
incorporated upstream looong time ago, any libedit is expected to have the
functionality nowadays (the test still checks for EL_GETC).
. Use tcl.m4 from tk-8.5 to lookup tclConfig.sh + tkConfig.sh. Drop laas
robot.m4
. Install package library in lib/, not in share/
. Do not link with tcl stub libraries, this is too much against libtool
religion - and does not provide much anyway nowadays.
. Drop eltclsh sub-packages, only one global eltclsh is provided.
. Generate pkgIndex.tcl manually (in particular, this drops the requirement for
specific rules for cross-compilation).
