Changes in ext4 have broken xar, see Gentoo bug 583668 and
https://github.com/mackyle/xar/issues/10 -- there is no fix
for this problem from upstream at this time.

This field used to make sense in our pre-git days, but
the Signed-Off-By: line serves the same purpose (and
even more) now, so APPROVED has been rejected. ;-)

These will (ideally, assuming we remember when generating tarballs)
still be mode 0755 inside the tarballs, but we would prefer to have
them mode 0644 on the server. It's probably not really important,
but just call us OCD like that. ;-)
